Edge EAS Competition Kit

The Edge EAS Competition Kit expands the monitoring capability of your Edge display system. It allows drivers to track critical engine data that factory sensors cannot measure. As a result, drivers gain better control when pushing their trucks beyond stock performance limits.

This kit works especially well for trucks with upgraded turbos and performance modifications. In many builds, factory sensors cannot accurately measure higher boost levels or critical temperatures. However, this kit adds additional sensors so drivers can monitor those conditions in real time.

One of the most important components in the kit is the EAS EGT Probe. This probe monitors Exhaust Gas Temperatures, which play a critical role in diesel engine safety. When power increases, exhaust temperatures can rise quickly. Therefore, monitoring EGT helps prevent excessive heat that could damage pistons, turbochargers, or other engine components.

The kit also includes a 0–100 PSI boost sensor. This sensor helps trucks equipped with aftermarket turbochargers measure higher boost levels than the factory MAP sensor can read. In addition, drivers can use this sensor for other pressure monitoring needs. For example, it can monitor drive pressure or fuel pressure when fine-tuning a performance setup.

Another key component is the -40°F to 300°F temperature sensor. This sensor allows drivers to monitor several critical temperatures across the vehicle. For example, users can track transmission temperature, differential or axle oil temperature, engine oil temperature, coolant temperature, and intake air temperature.

Installation remains clean and simple. The EAS system allows sensors to daisy chain together under the hood. As a result, only a single cable runs into the cab to connect to the monitor. This keeps wiring organized while expanding the monitoring capability of your Edge display system.
