EAS EGT Monitoring Kit – Daily Driver and Tow Applications

The Daily Driver/Tow Kit includes the EAS Starter Cable and EGT Probe, making it one of the most popular accessories for diesel truck owners who want reliable exhaust gas temperature monitoring. This kit allows you to monitor Exhaust Gas Temperatures directly from your device on the dash, giving you real-time visibility during towing or everyday driving.

The external temperature probe installs in the exhaust manifold to provide accurate readings. For the most precise temperature data, position the probe as close to the combustion chamber as possible. The closer to the combustion chamber, the better the accuracy of the readings.

Most applications require drilling and tapping the manifold to 1/8-NPT. The required bit and tap are not included with the kit. However, the manifold fitting, probe, wiring, and EAS starter cable are included to complete the installation process.
