This popular EAS accessory lets diesel truck owners monitor Exhaust Gas Temperatures from a dash-mounted device. For accurate readings, the included external temperature probe should be installed in the exhaust manifold, as close to the combustion chamber as possible. Installation typically requires drilling and tapping the manifold to 1/8-NPT (tools not included). The kit includes the manifold fitting, probe, wiring, and EAS starter cable.
This is our most popular EAS accessory and allows the average diesel truck owner to monitor Exhaust Gas Temperatures from their device on the dash. The external temperature probe must be installed in the exhaust manifold for the most accurate temperature readings. The closer to the combustion chamber, the better.
