The Keating Machine 12 Valve Billet Timing Front Cover with 12AN Port is a premium upgrade for 1994–2002 Cummins 5.9L 12-valve engines using the later timing cover pattern. Designed for performance-driven and high-boost applications, this billet cover replaces the factory stamped steel unit with a far stronger, more precise, and leak-resistant solution.

CNC-machined from solid billet aluminum and finished in a deep black anodizing, this timing cover improves rigidity, maintains proper gear alignment, and delivers long-term durability under heat, vibration, and boost. Compared to OEM covers, it resists flex and sealing issues that commonly appear in demanding use.

Machine-finished raw aluminum cover plates create a two-tone contrast that stands out in performance and show-oriented engine bays.

An integrated O-ring sealing system improves oil control and helps eliminate gasket-related leaks common with stamped covers.

12AN Port Configuration

This version includes a –12AN male port integrated into the P-pump cover plate. The port supports high-flow crankcase ventilation, catch-can routing, or custom breather systems. As a result, it’s well suited for high-boost, competition, or modified fueling applications where factory crankcase ventilation proves insufficient.

Fitment & Compatibility

The cover retains compatibility with critical OEM components, including the RPM sensor, factory gear housing, crankshaft dampener, belt drive system, and mechanical fan assembly. It also supports aftermarket mechanical fuel pumps such as Waterman-style units.

Keating Machine includes stainless steel mounting hardware and a block-off plate for unused pump locations. A crank seal is required for installation and is sold separately.
