The Wagler Connecting Rod Set WCPCRC6.6 is a high-performance upgrade designed for 2001–2016 GM 6.6L Duramax engines, including LB7, LLY, LBZ, LMM, and LML platforms. Built for strength and reliability, these rods provide the durability needed for performance builds, heavy towing, and high-horsepower applications.

Manufactured in the United States, these rods are forged by Trenton Forging using certified 4340ACQ steel. This material offers excellent tensile strength and fatigue resistance, making it ideal for diesel engines operating under high cylinder pressures.

Updated I-Beam Design for Strength

The Wagler WCPCRC6.6 rods feature an updated I-beam design that improves strength and durability compared to earlier designs. The beam incorporates increased thickness, strengthening ribs, and smooth 3D profiling to reduce stress concentrations.

Larger radius transitions also help eliminate stress risers that can lead to fatigue cracks under extreme load. As a result, these rods can handle significantly higher horsepower and torque levels in performance Duramax builds.

Precision Fit for Factory Pistons

Each connecting rod is precision honed to factory specifications, allowing it to work directly with factory-style pistons. Because of this design, no piston clearancing is required during installation.

This precise machining allows engine builders to install the rods without additional modifications, helping maintain proper engine geometry and reliability.

Tongue and Groove Cap Alignment

Wagler uses a Tongue & Groove cap alignment system that ensures accurate cap placement during assembly. This design locks the rod cap into position and helps maintain true bore alignment.

Unlike offset cap designs, this system helps keep the rod bore perfectly round under heavy load conditions.

Manufactured In-House for Quality Control
