The o-rings for the turbo pedestal on the 1999.5 through 2003 Ford Super Duty 7.3L Powerstroke are prone to leaking, and this Sinister Diesel o-rings kit is all you need to get your truck safely back on the road. An oil leak, of course, could lead to turbocharger failure, damage to your engine and even a serious under hood fire. Even if these diesel o-rings aren’t currently leaking, it is recommended that you replace them anytime you remove the turbocharger whether it be for upgrades or repairs. Be sure to remove and replace the lower pedestal o-rings whenever you’re servicing the turbocharger to avoid the added time and cost of dealing with a pedestal leak down the road.
