Sinister Diesel 58v FICM (SDGFICM58) for 2003-2007 Powerstroke 6.0L

The Sinister Diesel 58V FICM is an aftermarket upgrade designed to improve the reliability and performance of the 6.0L. Our 58V FICM upgrades all the components and drivers exposed to the higher voltage. In addition to these upgrades, Sinister Diesel corrects many of the original design and manufacturing flaws that are present in the original FICM. Resulting in a much more reliable unit that improves performance. Our FICM is made from high-quality components and crafted with a billet aluminum cover to help further reduce heat fatigue on electrical parts, allowing for a more durable and long lasting product.

With our 58v FICM, you can expect to see much better cold starts and injector response time, as well as reduced injector stiction. The latest version of software includes an inductive heating feature that is only activated when the PCM senses the engine is started in cold conditions which rapidly heats the injector spool valve by activating the injector coil which reduces stiction.

Our 58v FICM comes ready for immediate installation and operation. Each unit is fully tested at the factory and must pass a battery of tests which include fully loading the internal power supply, verification of communication between the FICM and PCM, verification of each injector activation, and waveform analysis of each injector’s coil. A complete self-diagnostic and scan test is also performed.

4-Pin vs. 7-Pin: Ford developed two different hardware platforms for the FICM, referred to as 7-Pin and 4-Pin. This refers to the number of screws that attached the power supply board to the main board. The 7-Pin early hardware was replaced later in the vehicle production cycle. Since our FICM’s are a completely plug and play solution, our FICM works as a replacement regardless if your truck currently has a 7-Pin or 4-Pin
