Stage 1 Long Block for 2007.5-2018 6.7L Cummins

The Industrial Injection 6.7L Cummins CR Stage 1 Long Block PDM-67STLB is built for 2007.5-2018 Dodge Ram 2500 and 3500 trucks with the 6.7L Cummins Common Rail engine. Industrial Injection designed this Stage 1 long block to support increased horsepower and torque while providing the durability needed for towing, street performance, and demanding work applications.

Each engine starts with a balanced and blueprinted rotating assembly. Additionally, Industrial Injection Sim-tests the engine assembly to help ensure accuracy, reliability, and long service life. The build combines upgraded internal parts with a Stage 1 cylinder head and new oiling and cooling components.

Balanced and Blueprinted 6.7L Cummins Long Block

Industrial Injection builds the PDM-67STLB with X Series coated and chamfered pistons. Additionally, the rotating assembly includes a balanced Cummins crankshaft and balanced Cummins connecting rods with ARP rod bolts.

A 12mm Gorilla Girdle works with ARP main studs to increase bottom-end strength. Meanwhile, coated H-Series main and rod bearings support the rotating assembly.

Stage 1 CNC Ported and Polished Cylinder Head

Industrial Injection tops the Stage 1 long block with a CNC ported and polished cylinder head. Additionally, the company uses performance hand blending to further improve airflow.

The cylinder head features oversized 36mm stainless steel nitride-coated valves. Industrial Injection also uses oversized high-temperature alloy valve seats and diamond-honed hardened alloy valve guides.

Performance 95lb valve springs complete the listed valvetrain upgrades. As a result, the cylinder head provides improved airflow and durability for the Stage 1 engine package.

Fire Ring Grooves for Improved Head Gasket Sealing

Industrial Injection machines fire ring grooves into the Stage 1 cylinder head to improve head gasket sealing. Additionally, the cylinder head includes drilled and tapped coolant freeze plugs.

These cylinder head upgrades work alongside the strengthened bottom end to create a long block designed for increased horsepower, torque, and demanding use.

Stage 1 188/220 Camshaft

Industrial Injection equips the PDM-67STLB with its Stage 1 188/220 camshaft. Therefore, the camshaft comes as part of the complete Stage 1 long block package.

The engine also includes new tappets and 95lb performance valve springs. Together, these parts complete the listed camshaft and valvetrain components included with the engine.

New Oiling and Cooling Components

Industrial Injection refreshes several key oiling and cooling components during the build. The engine includes a new oil pump, water pump, and oil cooler.

Additionally, the long block includes a Cummins oil pickup tube and Big Iron oil pan. Billet freeze plugs are also included as part of the engine package.

Break-In Oil and Warranty

Industrial Injection recommends Driven Racing Oil or Joe Gibbs Break-In Oil for the first 300 to 500 miles. The recommended break-in oil is sold separately.

Additionally, Industrial Injection backs the Stage 1 long block with a 1-year unlimited mileage warranty. Customers should follow the manufacturer’s installation, break-in, and warranty requirements for applicable coverage.

$3,200 Core Charge Applies

A $3,200 core charge applies to the PDM-67STLB. Customers can pay the core charge when ordering so Industrial Injection can ship the replacement engine without waiting for the original core.

After Industrial Injection receives and approves the returned core, the applicable core charge can be refunded. Alternatively, customers can send the core first. However, this option can delay shipment, and inventory is not guaranteed while Industrial Injection waits for the core.

Important Core Return Requirements

Industrial Injection requires the core within 90 days of receiving the order for full core credit. Additionally, the returned core must meet the company’s inspection requirements.

Customers remain responsible for return freight and any damage during shipping. Therefore, package the core carefully and include the required RA number and paperwork. Keep the RA number, invoice number, and tracking information until the core credit is complete.
