Industrial Injection New XP500 Series Cummins 6.7L CP3 XP500C

High-Flow CP3 Fuel Pump for Cummins Racing Applications

The Industrial Injection New XP500 Series Cummins 6.7L CP3 XP500C expands the company’s XP line of high-flow CP3 fuel pumps. Industrial Injection first introduced its XP CP3 pumps in 2015 with a focus on high fuel flow and efficient single-pump performance. Now, the XP500C continues that development for serious Cummins racing applications.

Industrial Injection builds the XP500C with an 11.2mm shaft, 9mm plungers, and an advanced high-flow gear pump. Additionally, DLC-coated internal components help support performance and reliability under demanding racing conditions.

Industrial Injection XP500C Fuel Flow

High-performance Cummins engines need enough fuel flow to support increased power. Therefore, Industrial Injection designed the XP500C to provide increased flow, performance, and efficiency from a single CP3 pump.

The sturdy 11.2mm shaft provides a strong foundation for the pump. Meanwhile, the 9mm plungers support the fuel demands of high-performance diesel engines. Additionally, the high-flow gear pump helps supply the increased fuel volume required by the XP500C.

11.2mm Shaft and 9mm Plungers

Industrial Injection equips the XP500C with an 11.2mm shaft and robust 9mm plungers. Together, these components support the increased fuel flow needed for demanding Cummins racing builds.

In addition, Industrial Injection uses an advanced high-flow gear pump. As a result, the XP500C combines several upgraded components into a single CP3 pump designed for serious diesel performance.

DLC-Coated Internal Components

Industrial Injection uses DLC-coated internal components in the XP500C to support both performance and reliability. These upgraded parts complement the larger shaft, plungers, and high-flow gear pump.

Therefore, the XP500C builds on Industrial Injection’s original XP CP3 design while providing another high-flow option for competition Cummins engines.

290 GPH Lift Pump Required

The XP500C needs a high-volume fuel supply to operate as designed. Therefore, Industrial Injection requires a lift pump capable of supplying 290 GPH.

Customers should confirm that their fuel system can meet this requirement before installing the XP500C. As a result, the CP3 can receive the fuel volume required for its high-flow design.

Racing Applications Only

Industrial Injection restricts the XP500C to racing applications. Additionally, the company requires verification that the pump will go on a racing-only vehicle before shipment.

After purchase, customers must provide photo proof of the race vehicle. Therefore, buyers should confirm that their application meets Industrial Injection’s racing requirements before ordering.

Important Core Return Information

Industrial Injection provides two options when a core requirement applies. First, customers can pay the core charge and receive the purchased pump without waiting for the old unit to arrive. Industrial Injection will then refund the applicable core charge after the returned core passes inspection.

Alternatively, customers can send the old core before Industrial Injection ships the new pump. However, this option may delay shipment, and product inventory is not guaranteed while Industrial Injection waits for the core.

For full credit, Industrial Injection requires the core within 90 days of receiving the order. Customers must remove all fittings, drain the fuel and oil, and package the core securely. Additionally, damaged or incomplete cores may receive reduced credit. Seized, cracked, fire-damaged, heavily damaged, or late cores may receive no credit.
