Edge EZX 3.0L Duramax Performance Module

The Edge EZX delivers a simple performance upgrade for 3.0L Duramax powered Silverado and Sierra 1500 trucks. This inline performance module increases horsepower and torque while improving throttle response and drivability. As a result, drivers gain stronger performance during daily driving and towing.

The module installs using a plug-and-play piggyback design. It connects directly to the MAF, MAP, and FRP sensors under the hood. Because the system does not require ECM unlocking or flashing, installation remains quick and completely reversible. Therefore, drivers can remove the module before dealer service without leaving a trace.

Power Gains and On-The-Fly Adjustments

The EZX module delivers gains of up to 41 horsepower and 97 lb-ft of torque depending on driving conditions. These gains improve acceleration, turbo response, and overall drivability.

Drivers can also change between five adjustable power levels while driving. This feature allows the truck to adapt to daily driving, towing, or performance use. As a result, drivers can quickly fine tune power output depending on road conditions.

Smartphone App Control

The EZX smartphone app expands the functionality of the module. The app works with both Android and iOS devices, giving drivers control of many vehicle features directly from their phone.

The app allows drivers to adjust seven throttle booster sensitivity levels within each power level. This feature lets drivers customize pedal response to match their preferred driving style.

The app also includes additional vehicle controls. Drivers can enable or disable the Auto Start Stop system, adjust throttle response, and manage several performance settings.

Monitoring and Diagnostic Features

The smartphone app also provides valuable monitoring and diagnostic tools. Drivers can read and clear ECM and TCM diagnostic trouble codes directly from the app. In addition, users can check emissions readiness monitors and perform a manual DPF regeneration cycle.

These tools help drivers maintain their truck and monitor important system conditions.

The module also includes engine protection features. For example, the system will not add power until engine coolant temperature reaches 120°F. In addition, the module reduces power when coolant temperature approaches 240°F.

For added safety, throttle sensitivity returns to stock pedal feel when the truck is in reverse. This feature helps maintain precise control while backing up.

Compatibility

The Edge EZX works with 3.0L Duramax LM2 and LZ0 engines in Silverado and Sierra 1500 trucks. It supports 2022.5 LM2 refresh models and 2023–2026 LZ0 trucks. However, the module does not support 3.0L diesel SUVs.

Drivers looking for expanded monitoring can pair the module with the Edge Insight CTS3 monitor using the available EZX + CTS3 kit.
