Edge Comp Box 2.0 VP44 Cummins Performance Module

The Edge Comp Box 2.0 delivers the next generation of performance tuning for 1998.5–2002 Dodge Ram trucks equipped with the 5.9L 24-valve VP44 Cummins engine. This module replaces the legendary Legacy Comp tuner that powered thousands of Cummins trucks for more than two decades. As a result, drivers now have access to updated technology with even greater control over fueling, power delivery, and engine performance.

The module installs using a true plug-and-play design. It connects directly to the factory wiring harness without cutting or splicing. Once installed, the system immediately begins improving horsepower, torque, and throttle response.

Edge Comp Box 2.0 Power Levels and Performance

The Edge Comp Box 2.0 delivers major power gains for the VP44 Cummins platform. The system includes five preset power levels that drivers can adjust while driving.

Level 1 delivers approximately 40 horsepower and 150 lb-ft of torque
Level 2 delivers approximately 60 horsepower and 200 lb-ft of torque
Level 3 delivers approximately 80 horsepower and 250 lb-ft of torque
Level 4 delivers approximately 100 horsepower and 300 lb-ft of torque
Level 5 delivers approximately 150 horsepower and 350 lb-ft of torque

Under certain setups, the module can produce maximum gains of up to 180 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque. These gains provide stronger acceleration and improved towing power.

Levels four and five also allow full fueling at higher RPM ranges, which helps maximize performance on modified trucks.

Smartphone App Control

The Edge Comp Box 2.0 introduces smartphone app integration that gives drivers full control of tuning adjustments. The app works with both Android and iOS devices.

Using the app, drivers can adjust low boost fueling, maximum fueling boost points, and injection timing. These adjustments allow precise tuning for different performance setups.

The system also features the industry’s first wireless Bluetooth power level switch. Drivers can change power levels on the fly directly from their smartphone.

Designed for Performance Builds

The Comp Box 2.0 supports a wide range of performance setups. The module works well with larger turbochargers, upgraded injectors, and other performance modifications.

Drivers can also fine-tune smoke output and power delivery through the tuning adjustments. As a result, the system works well for daily driving, towing, street performance, or competition use.

For additional monitoring, the module can pair with the Edge Insight CTS3 or CTS2 monitors. These monitors provide real-time engine data and customizable digital gauges.

Installation and Upgrade Recommendations

The Edge Comp Box 2.0 installs quickly using a simple plug-and-play design. Once installed, drivers can begin adjusting power levels immediately.

For trucks running higher power levels, lift pump upgrades and transmission upgrades are recommended. These upgrades help support the additional fueling and power produced by the module.
