For accurate readings, the included external temperature probe should be installed in the exhaust manifold, as close to the combustion chamber as possible. Installation typically requires drilling and tapping the manifold to 1/8-NPT (tools not included). The kit includes the manifold fitting, probe, wiring, and EAS starter cable.
