Sinister Diesel has redesigned the EGR cooler for the 6.0L Powerstroke, addressing common issues with the stock unit, such as internal brazing cracks that can lead to engine damage. Their upgraded cooler features high-flow stainless steel tubing with TIG welds for improved durability and reliability. It serves as a direct replacement for 2004-2007 Ford F-250/F-350 Super Duty and Ford Excursion models with a 6.0L Powerstroke engine.
Sinister Diesel has reinvented the Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) cooler with this great new model for the 6.0L Powerstroke with the same fit as the stock unit from Ford. A major concern with the factory EGR Cooler is that when the internal brazing cracks, it will allow coolant to be sucked into the intake manifold. From the manifold it enters the combustion chamber which usually results in a blown head gasket or hydro-locked motor and costly repair bills for thousands of dollars!
