The Kryptonite KRFSK05 steering kit is built for 2005–2025 Powerstroke trucks that need stronger, more precise steering control. This complete Death Grip system replaces weak factory components with a heavy-duty setup designed to handle towing, oversized tires, and rough driving conditions.
If your truck wanders, feels loose, or struggles to track straight, this upgrade fixes those issues and restores control.
Built for Strength and Adjustability
Kryptonite machines this system from solid 7075 aluminum with a massive 2-inch outer diameter. That construction increases strength while keeping weight under control.
In addition, you can adjust the system without removing it from the truck. That makes alignment corrections faster and easier.
Maintains Proper Steering Geometry
This kit mounts in the factory location and supports proper steering wheel position at different ride heights. Whether your truck is stock or lifted, the system keeps alignment consistent.
As a result, the truck tracks straighter and responds better to steering input.
Death Grip Tapered Jam Nut System
Kryptonite uses a tapered jam nut design to lock adjustments in place. This system prevents movement while still allowing fine tuning when needed.
Because of that, you get a secure setup without losing adjustability over time.
Stabilizer Compatibility
The drag link includes a relief area that allows the use of a steering stabilizer clamp. The tie rod also features dual relief areas for dual stabilizer systems.
Most popular dual stabilizer kits will work with this setup. Kryptonite clamp assemblies are required to complete installation.
