Designed as a direct replacement for the factory stamped steel cover, this machined aluminum version delivers improved rigidity and long-term reliability in both performance and workhorse applications.
Billet Timing Front Cover Design
This timing front cover starts as a solid billet aluminum blank and is CNC-machined for consistent tolerances and proper alignment. As a result, it resists flex under heat and vibration far better than OEM covers. Additionally, the black anodized finish adds corrosion resistance while giving the engine bay a refined, professional appearance.
Non-Ported Configuration for Simple Builds
This version uses a non-ported design, making it ideal for builds that do not require additional crankcase ventilation routing. Because it does not include a 12AN fitting, it works perfectly for trucks retaining factory-style ventilation or simplified performance setups. At the same time, it avoids unnecessary complexity during installation.
OEM Compatibility and Fitment
The Keating Machine billet timing front cover retains compatibility with the factory gear housing, RPM sensor, crank dampener, belt drive system, and mechanical fan. Furthermore, it supports aftermarket mechanical fuel supply pumps when required. Stainless mounting hardware is included to ensure a secure, corrosion-resistant installation. A crank seal is required but sold separately.
