Kill Devil Diesel Camshaft Kits
Kill Devil Diesel camshaft kits give 6.0 Powerstroke owners a stronger valvetrain upgrade for street, towing, and competition applications. The factory camshaft profile causes excessive lifter wear, so many owners upgrade to a billet camshaft setup for improved reliability.
Kill Devil Diesel machines these camshafts from new heat treated billet material. In addition, the company CNC grinds every camshaft for consistency and accuracy. Kill Devil Diesel does not use regrinds or welded camshafts.
Stage 2 Street Performance Camshaft
The Stage 2 Street Performance camshaft fits modified street trucks operating between 1000 RPM and 3800 RPM. It also works with stock injectors up to 330cc injectors.
Many owners choose the Stage 2 camshaft for daily driving, towing, and street performance builds. In addition, this camshaft supports high horsepower street and strip applications.
By changing valve timing events, the camshaft improves exhaust flow from the cylinder. As a result, the turbocharger spools quicker and the engine lowers EGT temperatures. Furthermore, many customers report small MPG improvements with Stage 1 and Stage 2 camshafts.

Installation Notes
Stage 1 and Stage 2 camshafts install as drop in camshafts. Therefore, these camshafts do not require machining or piston valve reliefs when:
Valve recession measures at least .020
Piston protrusion stays below .030
However, Stage 3 camshafts require .100 valve reliefs in the pistons.
