The Fleece SureFlo Performance Sending Unit FPE-SF-CUMM-2024-50 helps solve fuel delivery problems when running an external lift pump on a 2020-2024 Cummins 6.7L equipped with the factory 50 gallon fuel tank. IMPORTANT SureFlo Sending Units DO NOT contain a pump and are only intended for vehicles utilizing an external lift pump or for vehicles not originally equipped with a lift pump. Problem

Many aftermarket pumps mount external to the fuel tank. Because of this, installers often install a draw straw or drill the fuel tank to accommodate a sump. However, both options create drawbacks.

These setups commonly create the ¼ tank issue. When fuel levels drop, the pump may pull air into the fuel system. As a result, cavitation can occur and fuel delivery becomes inconsistent.

Fleece SureFlo Performance Sending Unit Solution

SureFlo performance sending units are designed to work with aftermarket lift pumps and fit directly into your stock sending unit location. The Fleece SureFlo Performance Sending Unit FPE-SF-CUMM-2024-50 also features factory style quick disconnects that adapt to the stock fuel lines at the tank. Because of this design, installation remains clean and requires no cutting or drilling of the tank.

SureFlo Bucket Fuel Delivery Design

SureFlo works by drawing fuel from, and returning fuel to, the bucket assembly at the base of the unit. Because of this design, the pump draws fuel instead of air. As a result, the system helps eliminate the common ¼ tank problem.

In addition, the SureFlo bucket incorporates one way check valves. These valves allow fuel to flow into the bucket more easily when fuel levels are low.

Application Notes

SureFlo performance sending units are designed for use in conjunction with an aftermarket externally mounted fuel pump OR as a replacement sending unit for trucks originally equipped without an in-tank low pressure lift pump.

Not for use in cab and chassis applications

This sending is specifically intended for use with the factory installed 50-gallon fuel tank option. It is not for use with aftermarket oversized fuel tanks. Reference our Resources page for fitment information.

For optimal performance, this product has been tested to work with aftermarket lift pumps including AirDog II-5G with flow rates up to 220 GPH and Fass with flow rates up to 100 GPH.
