The FASS EGR Filter System is a revolutionary upgrade for the 6.6 L5P Duramax engine. By removing 85% of the particulate matter that would otherwise circulate throughout your engine, this Filtration System drastically improves long-term reliability.
Without the FASS EGR Filter in place, particulate matter (soot) builds up throughout your EGR system and engine, causing premature wear and ultimately failure of vital components. By installing the FASS EGR Filter, you’re eliminating 85% of the particulate matter that could otherwise damage your engine.
Unfiltered EGR Systems can lead to:
- Clogged EGR coolers
- Clogged EGR valves
- Particulate matter buildup in intakes
- Particulate matter buildup on grid heaters
- Particulate matter buildup on intake valves
- Particulate matter buildup on top of piston rings
