Edge Evolution CTS3 L5P Duramax Tuner and Monitor
The Edge Evolution CTS3 provides advanced tuning and monitoring for 2017–2023 Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra trucks equipped with the 6.6L L5P Duramax. This device combines flash tuning, real-time monitoring, and diagnostic tools in one system. As a result, Duramax owners gain improved horsepower, better towing performance, and detailed engine data.
The kit includes the Edge Locksmith module, which unlocks the factory ECM and TCM through the OBDII port. Once unlocked, drivers can install emissions-friendly performance calibrations directly from the device. These tunes support daily driving, towing, fuel economy, and performance use. After flashing the calibration, drivers can disconnect the unlock tool and enjoy improved performance.
Performance Gains and Power Levels
This system delivers significant performance improvements for the L5P Duramax platform. Power gains can reach up to 125 horsepower and 275 lb-ft of torque at peak RPM depending on the selected tuning level. Drivers can choose from several calibrations designed for different driving conditions.
The available power levels include Economy, Tow, Performance, and Extreme modes. Each level adjusts fueling, throttle response, and power delivery. As a result, drivers can tailor performance to match their driving needs.
The device also includes a Throttle Boost feature. This adjustment allows drivers to change pedal sensitivity for quicker response. In addition, the system can improve quarter-mile performance with faster acceleration.

The display can show soot levels, miles since last regeneration, exhaust gas temperatures, boost pressure, and fluid temperatures. As a result, drivers can monitor engine conditions and prevent potential problems.

Installation and Compatibility

The device can unlock and tune only one vehicle. Once the ECM unlock process occurs, the tuner becomes locked to that VIN. Although drivers can return the truck to the stock calibration, the unlock process cannot be reversed.
The calibrations remain emissions-friendly and designed for trucks with factory emissions equipment. However, the system does not support the removal of emissions equipment.
