The Edge EAS Shift-On-The-Fly (SOTF) accessory lets drivers change custom tuning levels directly through their Insight monitor. Instead of installing a dash-mounted switch, drivers can control tune levels from the screen. As a result, the installation stays cleaner and easier to manage.

Many custom tuning setups rely on voltage signals to switch between power levels. Traditionally, drivers install a mechanical switch inside the cab to control those signals. However, this accessory allows the Insight monitor to handle those voltage changes electronically.

The system changes voltage signals between 1v, 2v, 3v, 4v, and 5v. Each voltage corresponds to a different tuning level. Therefore, drivers can quickly move between power levels while driving.

Installation is simple and straightforward. First, connect the accessory to the Insight monitor through the EAS system. Next, wire or plug the unit into the vehicle just like a traditional Shift-On-The-Fly or Driver-Selectable-Tuning switch. Then flash the proper tune into the vehicle to activate the SOTF or DST functions.

Power Stroke applications use a slightly different connection. In this case, the accessory connects to the fuel temperature sensor. The system then controls tuning levels that rely on voltage resistance through that sensor.

Overall, this accessory provides a cleaner way to control custom tuning levels. Instead of drilling holes for a mechanical switch, drivers can adjust power levels directly from the Insight screen.
