The Edge Comp Box 2.0 Cummins performance module upgrades 1998.5–2002 Dodge Ram trucks with the 5.9L VP44 engine. This plug-and-play module provides five adjustable power levels with gains up to 180 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque. Drivers can control fueling and timing through the smartphone app with Bluetooth connectivity. The system supports both stock and modified trucks and pairs with Insight monitors for in-cab monitoring.
Edge Comp Box 2.0 Cummins Performance Module
The Edge Comp Box 2.0 delivers the next generation of performance tuning for 1998.5–2002 Dodge Ram trucks equipped with the 5.9L 24-valve VP44 Cummins engine. This module replaces the legendary Legacy Comp tuner that powered thousands of Cummins trucks for more than two decades. As a result, drivers now have access to improved fueling control, higher RPM capability, and modern tuning features.
Installation is quick and simple thanks to the true plug-and-play design. The module connects directly to the factory wiring harness without cutting or splicing. Once installed, the system immediately improves throttle response and power delivery.
Edge Comp Box 2.0 Power Levels and Performance
The Edge Comp Box 2.0 Cummins module provides five preset power levels designed for different driving conditions. These levels allow drivers to adjust performance while driving.
Level 1 adds approximately 40 horsepower and 150 lb-ft of torque
Level 2 adds approximately 60 horsepower and 200 lb-ft of torque
Level 3 adds approximately 80 horsepower and 250 lb-ft of torque
Level 4 adds approximately 100 horsepower and 300 lb-ft of torque
Level 5 adds approximately 150 horsepower and 350 lb-ft of torque
Depending on the setup, the system can deliver maximum gains up to 180 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque. Levels four and five also allow full fueling at higher RPM ranges, helping modified trucks achieve greater top-end performance.
Smartphone App Tuning Control
The Edge Comp Box 2.0 introduces smartphone-based tuning control. The Edge app is available for both Android and iOS devices, allowing drivers to adjust tuning parameters directly from their phone.
Drivers can adjust low boost fueling, maximum fueling boost points, and injection timing through the app. These adjustments allow fine tuning for different turbo setups, injectors, and driving conditions.
The system also includes the industry’s first wireless Bluetooth power level switch, allowing on-the-fly power level adjustments without additional wiring.
Built for Performance and Modified Trucks
The Edge Comp Box 2.0 Cummins module supports a wide range of performance setups. The module works well with larger injectors, upgraded turbochargers, and other performance modifications.
Drivers can fine-tune smoke output and fueling characteristics to match their setup. As a result, the module works well for daily driving, towing, street performance, and competition applications.
For additional monitoring, the module can pair with the Edge Insight CTS3 or Edge Insight CTS2 monitors. These monitors display real-time engine data and provide customizable digital gauges inside the cab.
