Just like our “Standard” version, this kit eliminates the “dead-head” stock fuel rails and provides adjustable fuel pressure capability to the Powerstroke fuel system.

Eliminate Fuel Starvation in Your 6.0L Powerstroke
The Driven Diesel Fuel Bowl Delete Regulated Return Kit transforms the factory fuel system on your 2003–2007 6.0L Powerstroke Super Duty.
First, it eliminates the restrictive “dead-head” factory fuel rails. Then, it ties both rails together using a high-quality Fuelab bypass fuel pressure regulator. As a result, fuel circulates continuously through the cylinder heads instead of stopping at the rails.
Because of this regulated return design, your injectors receive consistent fuel pressure and volume at all times.
Why Delete the Factory Fuel Bowl?
The factory fuel filter bowl restricts flow and clogs the engine valley. Therefore, this kit removes the stock bowl completely and replaces it with a custom-machined fuel bowl delete block.
As fuel flow improves, your injectors receive a better supply under load. In addition, removing the factory bowl frees up valuable engine bay space. This becomes especially helpful if you also run a Bullet Proof Diesel oil cooler kit or another remote oil filter system.
Most importantly, this 6.0L Powerstroke fuel bowl delete kit allows trapped air to exit through the regulator return port instead of pushing through your injectors. Consequently, injector noise decreases,
and injector life increases.

Required Parts and Installation Configurations

If You Still Run the Stock Oil Filter Bowl
You must either:

Modify your existing oil filter bowl by removing the attached fuel filter bowl

Replace it with an oil filter bowl that does not include the fuel filter section

If You Run a Bullet Proof Diesel Oil Cooler Kit
If your truck uses a Bullet Proof Diesel oil cooler kit with a remote filter, this fuel bowl delete system allows you to remove the entire oil/fuel filter bowl assembly completely.
Fuel Pump Compatibility
This kit does NOT work with the stock fuel pump.
The factory fuel pump contains a fuel filter, and Ford sells replacement filters in pairs with the secondary filter. Therefore, deleting the secondary fuel bowl while retaining the stock pump creates unnecessary cost and redundancy.
If you plan to keep your factory pump, choose our Standard 6.0L Regulated Return Kit instead.
High Volume and Aftermarket Pump Compatibility
For best results, we strongly recommend pairing this system with a Driven Diesel High Volume Fuel Delivery Kit. In fact, we designed this fuel bowl delete regulated return kit specifically around those systems.
If you use a FASS or AIRDOG II high-pressure system, you will need our FASS / AIRDOG II Install Kit.

Alternator Fitment Note
This 6.0L Powerstroke regulated return kit mounts the regulator to the alternator using a custom bracket.
However, some high-amp aftermarket alternators use a different housing design. In those cases, you may need to modify the bracket or fabricate a custom mounting solution.
Bio-Diesel Compatibility
Although we improved bio-diesel compatibility in our fuel system kits, we recommend running B20 or lower. Higher bio-diesel concentrations can damage adhesives used in most fuel filter elements.
