Billet Timing Cover for Cummins 12 Valve P-Pump Applications
The Keating Machine 12 Valve Billet Timing Cover – Black Pocketed upgrades 1994–1998 Cummins 5.9L 12-valve engines running P-pump (P7100) fuel systems. Keating machines this cover from solid billet aluminum to replace the factory stamped steel unit with a stronger, more precise component built for performance use.
The pocketed design creates the clearance required for P-pump setups and modified fueling systems. This added space supports competition builds, P-pump conversions, and engines that need additional front-cover room. At the same time, the cover maintains compatibility with the factory gear housing, OEM RPM sensor, crankshaft dampener, and belt drive system.
A black anodized finish improves corrosion resistance and surface durability. It also delivers a clean, professional appearance that holds up under heat and vibration. This finish makes the cover suitable for both performance engines and detailed engine bays.
Keating includes a machined crank seal adapter ring to support proper sealing. The crank seal is sold separately. Stainless steel mounting hardware comes included for long-term corrosion resistance. A block-off plate is also supplied for applications not using a Waterman-style mechanical fuel pump.
This billet timing cover installs as a direct bolt-on replacement. It provides the strength, clearance, and reliability required for demanding Cummins 12-valve applications.
