The 6.0L Power Stroke 20mm cylinder heads from Fleece Performance deliver improved durability, sealing, and long-term reliability for 2003–2007 engines. Fleece builds each cylinder head from a brand-new high-strength casting and fully assembles it for immediate installation. As a result, these HD cylinder heads support daily driving and heavy towing applications where uptime matters.

Fleece Performance manufactures each cylinder head in its state-of-the-art Freedom Racing Engine shop and inspects every unit to meet or exceed factory specifications. Each head arrives fully assembled and ready to install, saving time while ensuring consistent quality. In addition, the exclusive single-piece O-ring design provides superior combustion sealing compared to traditional seamed stainless wire systems.

Improved Casting Design

Fleece Performance engineers these cylinder heads from the ground up rather than reusing OE castings. Years of testing and development led to a higher-strength alloy with added wall thickness and reinforcement in critical areas. Because of this, the casting resists cracking and supports long-term reliability under high cylinder pressure.

Extreme-Duty Valve Seats

Fleece Performance uses American-made valve seats produced from a tungsten alloy for increased hardness and wear resistance. These race-proven seats outperform OEM replacements and maintain stability under sustained heat and load. As a result, they extend valve life and improve overall cylinder head durability.

Exclusive Single-Piece O-Ring Sealing

The Freedom Series HD 6.0L cylinder head features a single-piece hoop-style O-ring that Fleece Performance designed exclusively for this application. Unlike traditional wire O-rings with seams, this one-piece design delivers consistent combustion sealing and improved head gasket reliability.

Application Notes

• All 20mm dowel heads use a 2-bolt rocker box configuration

• Fleece Performance recommends 6.4L Power Stroke pushrods (Ford Part No. 8C3Z-6565-B)

  • These pushrods measure 0.050” shorter than 6.0L pushrods and help accommodate tolerance variations during installation

• Head gasket not included

  • Recommended head gasket: Ford Part No. KZ3Z-6051-B

Cylinder Head Identification and Selection

Select the correct cylinder head by referencing the engine serial number. You can find the serial number on the rear driver’s side of the engine block. On vehicles with the original fuel injector control module, the serial number may also appear on the identification sticker on top of the FICM. If the FICM is not original, always verify the serial number directly on the engine block.
