Improved Performance and Internal Strength
The transmission includes a hard anodized valve body and a new solenoid pack. As a result, it delivers consistent shifting and improved control. A custom separator plate increases line pressure while reducing internal cross leaks.
In addition, the heavy-duty cam and roller low reverse clutch improves reliability. A billet spring retainer and reinforced piston design allow for increased clutch capacity. Because of this, the transmission can handle higher torque levels more effectively.
Increased Clutch Capacity and Cooling Efficiency
The overdrive and 2C clutches increase by 33 percent. This provides a larger apply area and stronger holding power. At the same time, a deep sump oil pan adds fluid capacity and improves cooling.
The pressure control module raises line pressure up to 250 psi. It uses MAP sensor input to adjust pressure based on load. Therefore, the transmission can respond better under different driving conditions.
